1. Policy Statement
Service providers registered on ServiLynk are strictly prohibited from soliciting, encouraging, or accepting payment from customers for services that were initiated through the ServiLynk platform, outside of the ServiLynk payment system.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Requesting customers to pay cash or via direct bank transfer for bookings made through ServiLynk
- Exchanging personal contact details (phone number, WhatsApp, email) for the purpose of arranging future bookings outside the platform
- Offering discounts to customers in exchange for booking directly rather than through ServiLynk
- Accepting tips or supplemental payments that circumvent the platform's payment processing
3. Why This Policy Exists
Off-platform transactions remove the consumer protections that ServiLynk provides, including dispute resolution, quality assurance, and secure payment processing. They also undermine the trust and integrity of the marketplace.
4. Consequences
Any provider found to be engaging in off-platform transactions will be subject to immediate suspension pending investigation, and may be permanently removed from the platform. ServiLynk reserves the right to pursue recovery of any commissions lost as a result of off-platform activity.
5. Reporting
Customers and providers are encouraged to report suspected off-platform solicitation to ServiLynk support via the in-app help centre.
